e78 shop provides both Local and Worldwide Shipping. We partner with world-class carriers including Hong Kong Post, SF-Express, DHL, FedEx, UPS, and USPS to deliver your items safely. Please review our shipping details and terms carefully before placing your order.
SECTION 1 - OVERVIEW & GENERAL TERMS
By placing an order with e78 shop, you explicitly agree to the following shipping terms and conditions:
- Order Processing Time: For standard in-stock items, please allow 1 to 2 working days for order preparation and multi-layered packing before your parcel is dispatched.
- Pre-order Items: If your order contains a mix of in-stock items and pre-order items, the entire order will be held and shipped together only when all items have arrived. If you need the in-stock items urgently, please place a separate order.
- Accuracy of Information: Customers must ensure that all provided shipping details are 100% accurate. e78 shop takes no responsibility for undelivered parcels or delays caused by incorrect information.
- Unclaimed & Returned Parcels: If a parcel is returned to Hong Kong because the courier could not deliver it, the customer was not at home, or the customer failed to collect it from the local post office/depot after notifications, the original shipping fee is strictly NON-REFUNDABLE. If you require the package to be reshipped, you must pay a new shipping fee.
- Price Fluctuations: The cost of foreign goods, services, and shipping rates may fluctuate. All listed prices are subject to change.
SECTION 2 - WORLDWIDE SHIPPING (Global Reach & Restrictions)
We offer various overseas shipping options to suit your budget and urgency, including DHL, SpeedPost (EMS), e-Express, and Registered Air Mail.
- Global Reach (Including Conflict Zones): We can ship to virtually any destination worldwide, including regions currently experiencing conflict. However, shipping to such areas requires specialized express courier services, and the fees will be significantly higher. Please contact our Customer Service for a quote before placing an order.
- Restricted Items (Batteries & Ointments): Products containing batteries, ointments, creams, or liquids are restricted by standard postal services. These items MUST be shipped via specific express couriers. If you order these items using standard shipping without consulting us, and the parcel is rejected and returned, we will not refund the shipping fee. If you are unsure about an item, please contact Customer Service first.
SECTION 3 - CUSTOMS, TAXES & DECLARED VALUE (Important Risk Notice)
- Customs Declarations: To assist our customers in minimizing or avoiding import taxes, we generally declare overseas shipments as "Gifts" and lower the declared product value. Please note that this is a courtesy service and does not 100% guarantee tax exemption. If local customs impose any taxes or duties, the customer remains solely responsible for payment. e78 shop will not bear any tax costs.
- Compensation Limitation Risk: Please read carefully. Because we lower the declared value to help you save on taxes, in the highly unlikely event that a parcel is lost or damaged, the courier or postal service will only compensate based on that lowered declared value, not the actual purchase price.
- Customer Agreement: By confirming and paying for your order, you explicitly understand and accept this risk. We will absolutely not accept any disputes, complaints, or demands for additional compensation regarding the payout amount. If you prefer to declare the full value for full insurance coverage (which may incur higher taxes), you must contact Customer Service before ordering.
SECTION 4 - DAMAGED, LOST & STOLEN PARCELS
Our parcels are protected with multi-layered, highly secure packaging. Because we use world-class couriers, incidents of damage or loss are extremely rare. However, if an issue arises:
- Damaged or Suspected Lost Parcels: If your parcel arrives damaged, you must keep ALL original packaging. Take clear, multi-angle photos of the damage and contact us immediately. While the final compensation payout is entirely determined by the courier's policies (which we cannot control or guarantee), we promise to put your interests first and fight vigorously on your behalf to claim the maximum possible compensation.
- "Porch Piracy" (Parcels Left at Door): Couriers may occasionally leave parcels at your front door, porch, or mailbox if no signature is required or no one is home. If a parcel is marked as "Delivered" but goes missing from your property, e78 shop assumes absolutely NO responsibility and will NOT provide any compensation, refunds, or replacements. This is considered a local theft issue. You must contact your local police and the courier directly.
- Track Your Parcel: It is your sole responsibility to actively monitor your email and SMS for tracking updates and delivery notifications. We accept no disputes or complaints if your parcel is stolen or returned because you missed the delivery notifications.
SECTION 5 - TAIWAN SHIPPING REQUIREMENTS (實名認證)
For all shipments to Taiwan, customers must strictly adhere to the following:
- Real-Name Authentication: You must complete the EZ Way (易利委) real-name authentication.
- ID Requirement: If choosing SF-Express, you MUST provide your Taiwan ID Card Number or ARC (Alien Resident Certificate) Number. Without this, we cannot ship your order.
- Personal Details Only: You must provide a purely personal residential address and a personal mobile phone number. Using a company name, corporate address, or company phone number is strictly prohibited and will result in shipping failure.
SECTION 6 - UNITED STATES SHIPPING
For deliveries to the US, we offer expedited options via FedEx and UPS, as well as a standard USPS Small Packet service.
- All US Shipping Options are Tax-Inclusive (DDP): Whether you choose FedEx, UPS, or USPS, our US shipping services operate on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis. This is a major advantage for our customers, as all taxes and duties are already included in the shipping fee. You will not need to worry about paying additional customs duties imposed by the US government or customs upon arrival.
- Rate Fluctuations: Please be aware that US customs regulations and postal/courier rates can fluctuate at any time. If sudden changes in policies or shipping rates require an additional shipping fee, our customer service team will contact you individually to arrange the supplementary payment. Please consider this possibility carefully before selecting your shipping method.
SECTION 7 - LOCAL SHIPPING (HONG KONG)
- Local Free Shipping (Orders over $500 HKD): Eligible for free shipping via SF-Express (default). Hong Kong Post is only used if a strictly postal address (e.g., PO Box) is provided.
- SF-Express "Pay on Delivery" & System Limitations: If you select the "SF-Express Pay on Delivery" (順豐到付) option, the checkout page will display the shipping cost as "FREE" or "$0". This is an e-commerce system limitation and does NOT mean shipping is free. You must pay the courier directly upon delivery. We do not accept cancellations or complaints based on this system display misunderstanding.
SECTION 8 - SPECIAL NOTICE: BADMINTON RACKETS
- Stringing Services: If you select our racket stringing service, please allow an additional 2 to 4 working days for processing.
- Shipping Risk: Badminton rackets are fragile. The customer bears all risks of damage (if any) during international transportation.
SECTION 9 - UNCONTROLLABLE FACTORS (Disclaimer)
e78 shop is not liable for any shipping delays caused by unpredictable or uncontrollable non-human factors. We are not responsible for delays resulting from customs clearance, courier/airline operational issues, aviation security checks, or force majeure events (extreme weather, strikes, pandemics).
e78 shop retains all rights to amend these terms at any time without prior notice.
